Looking at the weather report makes me want to smile. After all this rain... bring on that sun. It looks like its going to be GORGEOUS. I'm so excited. Two sessions on a gorgeous day, how could it get any better. Oh I know a cook-out with my family to celebrate the start of pool season! My kids are just as excited about this event and think they are going to be able to jump in and start swimming.... sorry kiddies still a little chilly for that but soon..... gammy and pop-pop's house is so much fun lots of room to run and play AND a pool, kids dream house. Hoping the great weather holds out over Sunday for my shoot with another beautiful family! So thats my weekend. What are you doing this weekend?

Just Gorgeous

Yesterday we braved the rain to grab some pictures of gorgeous Miss Lilly, and what an adventure we had! First it started out as a drizzling rain but luckily Princess Lilly came prepared!!! Her mommy had an umbrella to shield the princess from any rain. We started hiking and spotted some beautiful flowers. That was it Lilly decided to collect flowers all along the way and it made for some gorgeous shots. All along the way I was privileged to hear lots of great stories and commentary- I LOVE three year olds, you never know what they are going to say next. After our hike little Miss decided to go play at the park like any princess would do after a hard day of modeling!! So much fun!!!!! Thank you for being such a great model Lilly!!!! Can't wait to go on another flower picking adventure with you soon!

Rain, Rain Go Away.....

Hoping the rain holds off for this weekend. At least for enough time to grab some super cute pictures from the two sessions I have planned..... sigh..... I guess it is spring! Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

How Lucky Am I?

I was able to work with two families on Saturday, here is the other beautiful family. This session was so much fun. They came armed with their Star Wars gear, which made for a really great time. The boys got into their parts and made for some great photos. But those pictures will not be shared because I want to surprise the family with them. So here are some other shots of two handsome little men!

I had the pleasure working with this family on Saturday, Mr B. was sporting his 2 year old attitude and would quickly tell me when it was time to move on by saying "done". Ok I admit it was partially my fault since I had the family meet me at a playground at a park. Of course he would much rather play at the park then get silly pictures taken. Now I know for next time! On to the pictures.....

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Hope all the mothers out there have a wonderful day full of hugs and kisses! I had two great sessions yesterday and was blessed to wake up to three sweet little faces eager to tell me "Happy Mothers Day". After I was awake enough to get up, I was given three handmade cards. M, who is in Kindergarten, made hers all by herself including the darling little message inside. K, who is 3, drew a Kool-Aid maker on the front of his card and a BIG chimpanzee on the inside. A is 1 and of course to small to write her own card but my wonderful hubby helped her create a card that brought tears to my eyes. I'm so blessed. Everyday is a gift and we need to enjoy it to the fullest. Remember all those sweet little moments we all too often take for granted. When I photograph your family those are the moments I hope to capture. Pure genuine smiles, little giggles and even the temper-tantrums, because one day they will be no more and THEN you will WANT to remember those times. :) HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
